Lunch

I owe my life to whomever thought of harvesting and consuming unfertilized chicken embryos.

Dinner Last Night = Bad Combo

Gross mistake (for being inedible and for being a huge mistake).

Garlic and Tilapia do not go together.

Dinner

Today was my sister's birthday! We had galbi.
Yum. Galbi comes in all types of sizes, cuts, colors...so you can imagine your favorite galbi as I talk about this. It was good galbi, man. Good galbi.

So today, I discovered that I was a victim of identity theft. No, no...don't worry, my fiduciary holdings are sound...well, nonexistent. No, someone stole my image and used it as his facebook profile picture. CREEP! (more details posted on my regular blog at www.xanga.com/enigmavariations).

So that reminded me of college. Remember my senior year of college? I got the dreaded "senior 20." I ate chinese delivery almost everyday.

In hindsight, that was really, really gross...but I miss that greasy chinese food sometimes.
I searched the place where I ordered from and it got some terrible reviews! MMMMMmmm.

Tour Food

The past couple of days have been just junk food: pizza, pizza, fries, pizza. That's my rock-star tour life...which is not so glamorous.

One highlight was when we stayed on a farm in Missouri. We had organic chicken that was freshly killed and grass-fed organic beef. I also got to ride bare back on a horse!

Breakfast

I'm on tour right now...so I'll try to update as often as possible.

I had a tall coffee with soy milk.

Youth is wasted on the young.

I had beef.
Goji berry juice.

It's what was for lunch.

Dinner

I had curry chicken. It was spicy.

Washed it down with am Amstel Light. That's an IMPORTED beer from Holland. Ohhhhhh.

Lunch

Indian food.  Chicken platter was $9.  There was only one type of chicken.  I don't know why they call it a "platter."  Misnomer.

You ask, "Would you pay $9 for lunch?!"
Yes.
You ask, "What if it was Indian food?"
Then YES.  It was worth it.

If I could live anywhere, I would live in India.  I want to smell all the smells and eat all the food.  Nevermind the crippling poverty and disease.

Serious. Eats. Seriously.
I had Dominoes Pizza last night.  One pepperoni and one cheese.  I felt fat.

This morning, I had a small coffee with soy milk.  It woke me up.

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

I had a piece of hard candy.  It was sweet.

Lunch

Today, I ate a baby spinach salad with chicken salad on the side.  Two spicy meatballs, too.

It was good.  I had to take some Pepcid, because that wasa onea spicay meatball.

I won't tease you with pictures, because then to enjoy it you'd have to go to the deli I go to everyday.  But you can't, so pictures would only make you jealous that you're not here.

Instead, I took a picture of the aftermath.  Yummmmmm:

The ladies at the deli call me handsome.  There are only three people in this world that call me handsome: my mom and the two deli ladies.  They're brilliant and I'm a sucker because I keep going back for that little boost.

Inaugural Post

Welcome to my new blog!

I will chronicle my food adventures here, because I take food way too seriously.  People like Doah Kim (please support her!) inspired me to materialize my thoughts.  She also takes food way too seriously.

Also, please inquire about my paper-subscription that will be delivered to your doorstep DAILY.  I have to emphasize that my online posts and my print media are the same quality -- the kind that you've come to expect from me.  My online posts would make it on the print edition, but this is a world with rapidly-unfolding events.  By the time I release my food adventures on print, it's literallly yesterday's news.  Therefore, the philosophy is that I will reserve my print stories to have the most impact on the food world.
